We hear about a lot of fairytale romances at Arkansas Bride, but Alex Rankin of Quitman and Brad Bennett of Springhill, Missouri, share a sweet story.
Here's the tale in Alex's words:
Our parents graduated from Quitman together. My mom, his mom and dad, they were all friends. They've known each other practically their whole lives. His parents moved to Mississippi after they graduated high school, and that's where they raised Brad and his siblings. They always wanted to move back to Arkansas, and when they finally did, Brad stayed in Mississippi for a job opportunity. A car accident and a broken neck brought Brad back to Arkansas to be cared for by his family in March 2017. Shortly after, they all came to my brother's football game. I was invited to their house the next day for a cookout, and we've been together ever since. Brad proposed four short months later!
Alex and Brad will marry at Pine Mountain in Quitman on Sept. 29, 2018, but for now, we can enjoy their adorable engagement photos from Brandi Schulz of Key Moments Photography.
