Spiro, Okla. native Roni Lawson and Trae Bryant of West Memphis met as law students at the University of Arkansas. While second-year Roni was scoping out first-year students with her friends, “Trae had apparently also been scoping me out,” she says. “He spent the next few weeks trying to find subtle ways to run into me around school, not knowing that his excuses to see me were all completely obvious, but adorable nonetheless.” The couple started dating, and a year and a half later, Trae proposed during a staged geocache. “We were looking for this hidden ‘treasure’ when he claimed he saw the box he was looking for. He ended up down on one knee and magically had a ring in his hand asking me to marry him!”
