Lauren Vassar and Collin French got engaged on September 2, 2022, at the Walton Arts Center. He led her through the gate towards the rose garden where he had balloons and light-up letters spelling “épouse-moi,” which means “Marry me” in French. They celebrated at a private Parisian-themed dinner with family and friends.
“Because our last name is French, it only seemed fitting for our proposal to be ‘French’-themed,” Lauren said. “Everyone really got into character, with the bartenders even wearing berets!”
From the Eiffel Tower photo backdrop and “She said oui!” sidewalk café to sparkling French 75 cocktails and custom macaron favors, the French details were c'est magnifique!
“My favorite part was having all our closest friends and family there to celebrate with us at such a special time,” Lauren said.
