Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the wedding preparations? Natalie Scott, the owner of Natalie Scott Events and The Grandeur House venue in Little Rock, has cooked up the perfect event for brides-to-be as they begin to puzzle the pieces together for their big day. Meet: The Grandeur Bridal Academy

Natalie is quick to point out that this event is not like the bridal fairs filled with vendor booths. Instead, this is a workshop where vendors take the time to teach attendees about important wedding planning details like what a wedding really costs and the ins and outs of hiring the right people for your big day.

"The structure is more classroom style, where vendors each have allotted time slots to speak," Natalie says. "Bridal fairs are great for vendors showcasing their talents, but this event is all about the bride!"

Brides can expect to learn from The Grandeur Bridal Academy's expert panel of teachers (aka some of the best vendors in the state). Vendors will teach brides things like how to contact vendors, what to look for in hiring your vendor team, how to build the perfect wedding menu, and how much do flowers really cost — and so much more.

"I am most looking forward to sending the attendees off that day, knowing they will feel confident in planning their weddings," Natalie says. "That is the heart behind this event, all of the vendors and I really want to invest in these brides. (Also, some of the vendors are preparing some unbelievable surprises for our attendees. I cannot wait for them to see what all is planned!)"

The event — held on March 10 — is an all-day affair that will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. The day will start with a welcome brunch from Vibrant Occasions Catering followed by "lessons" and opportunities for one-on-one time with wedding vendors. There will also be a catered lunch and two "recess" sessions where brides can choose their extracurricular activities like learn more about wedding gowns and cake tasting. To finish, brides will be treated to a graduation cocktail party.

Here's a peek at the vendors who will be participating:

Tickets are $150 per bride, and each bride comes with a "plus one" seat for moms or maids of honor. For more info about the event, head to the Eventbrite page here
