It's rare to see a wedding album and immediately get a sense that you really know the couple. But that's exactly what happens when you look at Kim Lane and Aaron Duvall's wedding day back in May. These two people are so clearly in love and it shines so brightly in each frame. What makes this one even more special is that theme! We've never seen a veggie-themed wedding and we're still smitten.

After talking with Kim, it was clear how much thought and intention went into every single detail of this day. The couple collaborated with friends and local entrepreneurs to create the day of their dreams. And the result was positively magic.

Here are a few of the details we love the most.

"Funny story about the bouquet: I told Aaron that I wanted radishes in my bouquet so he could tell me I looked 'radishing,' but at the wedding, we realized we’d grabbed beets instead of radishes. He told me I looked radishing anyway."

"Another one of my favorite things was that Aaron walked both of our moms (separately) down the aisle, and we had bouquets of ranunculus flowers made for them wrapped in brown craft paper and ribbon. Each bouquet had a personalized letter attached that read 'To my Mom' at the top, one from me to my Mom, and one from Aaron to his Mom. I was so excited for Aaron to deliver that gift to my Mom seconds before I walked down the aisle with my Dad – a note about how much she means to me and how thankful I am that she’s made me the woman I am today."

"I run a Makerspace in Conway, and it was really special for me to work with the Makerspace team to create something for the guests: we made letters out of pieces of wood with a note laser-engraved on the wood, and the wooden letters were at the place settings. The letters had a note about how much everyone meant to us, and the impact they’ve had on our lives."

"I work with entrepreneurs a lot, so it was really special to me to work with so many of my friends at the wedding. Kyle Tabor, the owner of Blue Sail Coffee, had a coffee cart (with hot and iced drinks!) at the wedding, which was amazing and a huge hit. Kyle hand-made the coffees for the wedding guests, which was really special."

"The 'I Duvall' Kentucky Mule with fresh mint from our garden was pretty awesome. We surprised the entire wedding party with mules in copper mugs right after the ceremony."

"Aaron has a 10-year-old son, Gabe, and it was important to us that he had a big part in the wedding. He was the 'Junior Best Man' and gave an amazing speech during the Dinner Party. I don’t think there was a dry eye when he finished."

"One of my favorite parts about the day/night was that, since it was in our backyard, there was no set end time. When it got really late, we were still drinking the table wine and Lost 40 beer (and limoncello moonshine), sitting around the fire pit, dancing to our friends and family singing songs and playing acoustic guitar, and just letting it all soak in. It was just beautiful."
