The Papes

Fayetteville natives Beth Anne Harrison and Adam Jones met during high school in Fayetteville. The two had gone to school together for years but it wasn't until they were in the same AP Psychology and TV Production classes that sparks began to fly. The two dated for five years, both attending the University of Arkansas.

Adam planned a trip to visit Beth Anne in Washington D.C. while she finished up her master's degree at Georgetown University. Adam arrived and insisted they go to Mount Vernon since beth has a passion for history. On the cab ride to Mount Vernon, Beth Anne spotted the ring box in Adam's pocket and realized what was happening.

"When we arrived at Mount Vernon, Adam proposed in the 12-acre field overlooking the Mansion House at Mount Vernon," Beth Anne says. "I was so excited! It was the perfect proposal for a history teacher! We now live in Little Rock where Adam works as an analyst at Stephen's Inc. and Beth Anne teaches 7th grade World History at Episcopal Collegiate School. We will get married in June 2019 in our hometown of Fayetteville!"

The couple will say "I do" on Wednesday, June 29, 2019, at Central United Methodist Church followed by a reception at the Inn at Carnall Hall.

Congrats, lovebirds!
